Who is your ideal client?

Once you have begun to get clients you must determine what your "ideal" client looks like. The reason that this is so important is that you must focus on getting clients with as little advertising dollars as possible. Remember that each client that you land has a cost of acquisition associated with it. 

Focus on your current clients and how you fit their needs with your services. For example, if you provide Human Resources services, are most of your current clients small insurance businesses with <10 people who are located in rural areas in your state? The more you can detail your current client profiles the more you can focus your advertising resources to that specific area.

Google AdWords, post card mailings, business cards and flyers, etc. All of these work much more effectively when you know what your ideal clients look like!
